Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026
This document is a starting template, not finished legal advice. It has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor.

1. Who We Are

Spenny Cali Method is operated by Spencer ("we", "us", "our"), providing one-on-one online calisthenics coaching. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). As a business that collects health information from clients, we comply with the APPs regardless of annual turnover.

2. Information We Collect

3. How We Collect It

We collect personal information directly from you — through our website, application forms, the PAR-Q and Waiver, email, and ongoing coaching communication. We do not purchase or source personal information about you from third parties.

4. Why We Collect and Use It

5. Health Information

Health information is treated as sensitive information and handled with additional care. It is used only to assess your suitability for training and to design and adjust your program safely. We do not disclose your health information to any third party without your consent, except where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect your health or safety in an emergency.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share limited personal information with trusted service providers who help us run the business, such as our payment processor and website or email hosting providers. These providers may store data on servers located outside Australia. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

7. Data Security & Storage

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, using password-protected accounts and reputable third-party platforms. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet our legal and tax obligations (generally up to five years for financial records), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

8. Access & Correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time by emailing spenny@spennycalimethod.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about how your personal information has been handled, please contact us first at spenny@spennycalimethod.com so we can try to resolve it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Cookies & Website Data

Our website does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies beyond standard technical logs kept by our hosting provider. If this changes — for example, if we add analytics tools in future — this policy will be updated to reflect that.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available at spennycalimethod.com, with the "last updated" date shown above.
